Blackened Salmon
Blackened Salmon is one of my favorite dishes to prepare. Simple and delicious, served with a spicy remoulade over the top or on the side (Not Pictured). Plated with steamed broccoli and yellow rice.
Ingredients
- 4 6-8oz Salmon Fillets
- 4 TBSP Butter
- Tucker’s BLACK Seasoning
Remoulade
- 1/2 Cup Mayonaise
- 2 TBSP Dijon Mustard
- 2 tsp Prepared Horseradish
- 2 tsp Tucker's BLACK Seasoning
- 1 tsp Tucker's Fire-De-Lis Hot Sauce
Instructions
- Melt butter over low heat in a small sauce pan.
- Heat Cast Iron or heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Brush butter onto salmon fillets, top and bottom. Generously coat with Tucker’s BLACK seasoning. Pour remaining butter into skillet.
- Place salmon skin side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve blackened salmon with your favorite side dishes and enjoy.
- Don’t forget the Remoulade.
- Remoulade:
- Combine 1/2 cup mayo, 2 TBSP Dijon Mustard, 2 tsp prepared horseradish, 2 tsp Tucker’s BLACK Seasoning, and 1 tsp of your favorite hot sauce (Tucker's Fire-De-Lis, *cough, *cough) in a small mixing bowl.
- Whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Optional. It sauce is too thick, add a TBSP of water at a time while whisking until you get the consistency that you’re after.
